At this hands-on class, you will get the chance to cook a luxurious version of a traditional laksa lemak, with the addition of Moreton Bay bugs and prawns, and learn how to make your very own laksa paste to take home with you from scratch.

First, our experienced demonstrators will show you the ropes in our tiered theatrette. The beauty of laksa is that it can be adapted to suit your own taste; you’ll get to make your own in our five-star kitchens, adapting the recipe as you go according to how salty, sour, or spicy you like it. Lastly, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour in our dining room, complete with a glass of wine and a sweet treat for dessert.

Evening classes begin with seafood canapés and an additional glass of wine or beer.
